The Ridge Meadows RCMP says the fire caused $70,000 worth of damage to a playground structure at Volker Park on 123 Avenue, west of 212 Street on Wendesday, Jan. 29.
The Maple Ridge Fire Department first responded to the reports of the fire shortly before 8 p.m.
